    TCHC Player of the Week

    Ryan Gruzeska, ETBU

    ETBU Junior Ryan Gruszka lead the Tigers this past weekend, picking up two victories against DBU, improving their record to 6-0 on the season.  Gruszka finished the weekend with three goals and four assists, after scoring his first goal as a Tiger on Friday night in a two goal and two assist performance in the 7-1 win.

    TCHC Player of the Week

    Tyler Fitzgerald, ETBU
     
    Sophomore goalie Tyler Fitzgerald, from Cornwall, Ontario recorded a shutout on Friday night against the University of Texas in a 4-0 win and has been selected as the Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference Play of the Week for the week of September 9. Fitzgerald picked up another win in the net for ETBU on Saturday in a 7-3 victory, making 78 total saves in the two games only allowing three goals.  For the season, Fitzgerald is 4-0, with a 1.50 goals against average and a 95.5% save percentage.

      Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference (TCHC)

      League History: 

      The Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference was founded in 2016 to bring organization and structure to the Texas teams competing for the ACHA Regional Tournament.

      League Overview: 

      The following teams compete in the Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference: Dallas Baptist University, Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, Texas State University, East Texas Baptist University, University of North Texas,  University of Texas- El Paso, and University of Texas.
